Harvest Time

Well I harvested some early potatoes (new potatoes) today. I feel like a real farmer (lol) :P. I am really getting the hang of this vegetable garden thing. Pretty coolI actually love it, being out in the dirt and growing food for my family. I plan to expand the garden next year, and not use a CSA. I have been very busy with this garden and my flower garden.I have been really having a productive summer. I picked some onions a few days ago also, they are drying in the garage. Which smells like onions yum.Michael fixed our fence to the back yard too. It looks great. He is so "Handy" and good with his hands. I just love Him. He's my Honey Bunny.

I have to really start reading this book on Root Cellaring so that I will be able to store our carrots,cabbage,parsnips and so on and so on...

This book shows you how to turn any space into a "root cellar". I will keep you posted :)
