We have been harvesting for about 3 weeks now. This is my first garden and it's doing very well. I am so suprised. We have 3 small plots and they are all flourishing. I really wanted to get into gardening now so when we moved to New Hampshire I would be an old hat at it. I boought this book so I could store our bounty for the winter. I am so excited to get started with our "root celler". It will be in our garage. So I will see how well it works.

I canned a some strawberry preserves for the winter and I will be canning some organic peaches on wedenesday and will be getting some pears too. This is the best summer for vegetables, not to hot and no rain. Our CSA is producing very nicely too, our Bounty is Great. I give the harvest to God. He has provided well for us. I rarely go to the supper markets these days, which is a Blessing, the price of food is an outrage.
I am thinking about doing some aromathepay, why not I have a lovely lavender bush in the front yard. So this weekend My Dear Husband Michael and I boiled some down, and I bought the amber bottles
I can't wait to see how well this will work. Busy, Busy, Busy. I love it.

Hi Andrea! How did your lavender water turn out? There is so much to learn about this, but it's so healing and refreshing...Very rewarding. Cassandra has her own interest about Aromatherapy and coming up with some healing remedies. You and her are rubbing off on me, in a good way, of course!! Talk to you later. Trina
